Well, choosing an institution is not a problem here, you can choose any institution of your choice, be it a University, polytechnic college of education, or innovation enterprise, either as a first, second, third, or fourth choice, it is all up to you.
In other words, all universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and innovation enterprise institutions, can be chosen as the second choice.
Is it okay to choose a university as my first and second choice?
You can choose any university of your choice as your first and second choice, you could use the school you are sure of admission to, or the school you want to go to as your first choice and the other alternative as your second choice.
Does the University of Lagos accept a second choice?
This is a NO to this question. The university does not and has never offered admission to candidates who selected them as the second choice in the jamb registration form, so take note of that, you can only be admitted if you select their school as your first choice during Jamb registration.,
Can I switch universities after accepting?
Universities do give 14 days in case you want to change your mind about switching schools, meaning if you do not want that, you could reject the offer, or decline the offer and you could still reaccept another. But make sure you consider all other factors, factors as scholarships, acceptance, residence, and deposits before you can finally make your decision.

Does the school know if they are your first choice?
This is like asking if they could have an idea about the other universities you’ve applied to, but that is not possible. When you have applied to like five choices of schools, they can have an access to see other schools you applied for, so it is a no to that.
Can I possibly transfer from one university to another?
Yes, it can be possible especially if the courses are similar enough, and it is possible if you move straight from one university to another, especially in the first year.
Is it that easy to transfer from one university to another university?
In most instances, if you’re transferring to the university during the year, it might take some time, because you will need to follow some steps. Some schools have their policies and the way they accept transfer students, some schools you will have to pass through an interview, and fill in some form. But if you are a couple of weeks in school and have the same cause, then it is quite easy.
