The Post UTME form is now available online via www.absu.edu.ng. However, registration of ABSU post-UTME has not to start immediately, but be informed that it will commence by August 2023.
That means invariably that all the students who made ABSU their first choice in their just concluded JAMB and scored up to 200 and above are qualified to purchase the application form.
ABSU Post UTME Registration Requirements
- All the students who intend to apply or buy the ABSU post-UTME form for the 2023/2024 academic session, should take note of this essential information that will help them during their post-UTME application form. To be qualified for this post-UTME you have to meet the following requirements:
- You are eligible to apply if you are students who choose Abia State University as your first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet the required cut-off mark of the university.
- You are qualified to obtain the ABSU application form if have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics which is not more than two sittings. Except for those courses that do not require having credit in Mathematics.
- In addition, students who fail to part take in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be offered admission.
- Students who apply with Awaiting Results should indicate that their results are awaiting.
How Much is The Post UTME Form?
The Abia State University Post UTME Form for 2023/2024 is not very expensive in case you are scared. The Post UTME form is N2,000 (two thousand naira) only and this money is nonrefundable for your information. The money should be paid through the university admission portal.

- Log into the ABSU admission portal at portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng and generate an invoice.
- Enter into any branch of the designated Banks in the list below, and make a payment of N2,000.00 only. The banks are as follows:

- Ecobank Plc
- Zenith Bank Plc
- First Bank Plc
- Fidelity Bank Plc
- Union Bank Plc
- Return to the portal and click on Applicant.
- Click on ABSU Aptitude Test
- Fill out and complete the Application Form. Also make sure you upload a legible passport photograph to that your application won’t is rejected, after that download a copy as evidence of registration.

For now, there is no official date for the 2023/2024 Abia State University Post UTME screening exercise. However, when the date is scheduled we will let you know, that is why you should visit this site often for the latest information about the Post-UTME

Important Facts on ABSU Post UTME 2023
- Ensure that your name and photograph on Registration Slip are the same, any difference will not be accepted by the University and may lead to disqualification. Students’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration documents must be the same.
- Students must reach sixteen (16) years of age and above to be qualified for the Post UTME test.
- iPad, iPod, mobile Phones, Walkman, and other gadgets or any extraneous materials will not be allowed into the Screening hall.
- Students should ensure they apply within the period of Registration because the online link for the Application Form will be disabled after the deadline elapses.
- Candidates are to make their registration online but to be physically present on the University Campus, on the screening day
- Students who chose the University as their second choice and wish to be considered for admission can apply for the Screening Exercise but must ensure they change to Abia State University as their First Choice.
- Candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB website as soon as possible will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates must ensure that they register with their own email addresses and functional telephone numbers
- During the Screening Exercise any candidates who fail to report to the designated Screening Venues as scheduled or risk disqualification.
- Parents and Guardians, friends, and those who are not students for the test will not be allowed into the campus on the date scheduled for the screening exercise.
