The Lagos State University (LASU) currently has a total of 35,521 Students, this includes students from the Ojo main campus, the College of Medicine at Ikeja campus, and the Epe campus of the university, which makes up the total number of the students.
Lagos State University currently operates at three major campuses, they are Ojo, Ikeja, and Epe campuses.
The Ojo campus: This is the Main Campus and the seat of the Central Administration.
The Ikeja Campus: This particular campus houses the University College of Medicine (LASUCOM).
The Epe campus: This campus comprises of the School of Agriculture, the Institute for Organic Agriculture, Green Economy, and the Faculty of Engineering.
About the Admission List
After post-UTME, every institution is expected to release an admission list. The admission list, is, therefore, a list that contains the names of students who took part in any Nigerian university post-UTME and was successful in the screening process. Also, the list is for only students who met the cut-off mark of the university, after writing the school post-UTME.

Yes, the LASU admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session is now out, and this is to inform all candidates who recently applied for admission to Lagos State University, that the LASU Admission List for the 2023/2024 Academic Session is out. The University has released and published the list of all the students who have been admitted into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Candidates who participated in the school’s post-UTME screening exercise are hereby, requested to check their names on the school’s admission list.
The University Management has directs all candidates who want to check their names on the Admission list to visit JAMB CAPS to ascertain their admission status, accept the offer of provisional admission, and print Admission Letters accordingly.
How to Check the School (LASU) Admission List
- Visit the LASU admission site: services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/login.php.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number and Surname in the columns provided (write Reg. number in uppercase).
- Click the ‘Submit’ tab to check your LASU account dashboard.
- Lastly, find the Check admission status and click it to see your LASU admission status.
Other Ways to Know that the School Has Offered You Admission
Alternatively, prospective students can also check their Lagos State University LASU Admission list/status from the JAMB portal or through the Central Admission Checking Portal (CAPS), following steps by step procedures listed below:
Step 1: To check your admission status via the JAMB portal, visit: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
Step 2: Enter the JAMB profile with your username and your password
Step 3 Scroll down, locate and click the Check Admission Status button.
Step 4: Choose your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the correct columns provided.
Step 5: Lastly, click on the Check Admission Status button to see your LASU admission status.
How to Print Out the School Admission Letter
All successful students offered admission, to their different institutions are expected to go to the JAMB portal to print out their admission letters after they have made a payment of one thousand (N1,000) naira only.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal is always open for both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry to print their admission letters.
A Quick Reminder: if you are a new user, before you print your admission letter you will be required to create a profile through a Sign-Up Page, and for to create a profile, you will need your first name, surname, Mobile No, State of origin, Local Government Area of Origin, valid email address, and password, then you click on the Sign-Up tab. Each student is not allowed to have more than one profile.
If you do not know how to print your admission letter, then follow these simple steps below:
- Log into the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Enter your Email Address and Password.
- Click the Admission Letter button.
- When you have done this, a transaction ID is generated for this service, which will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
- Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page, Also, copy the transaction ID displayed in bold red font, you will need the transaction ID for future reference.
- If you wish to make payment immediately with your card, click the continue button immediately. For ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, the transaction ID will be required.
- Enter your card details and click on the Pay button, An SMS and email of your unique transaction ID and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Then click on the Continue button.
- When you are done with the payment, you will be asked to provide:
- Your year of Exam
- And your JAMB Registration Number.
- Enter the information accurately, now you can print your Admission letter.
What Students Should do After they Have been offered Admission
Students who successfully find their names in the admission list are advised to go to the JAMB CAPS portal to ACCEPT or REJECT the offer. If you are among the successful candidates, on the school list, you are expected to proceed to LASU official Portal to accept or reject the admission offer.
Failure to accept your admission offer and make the necessary payment of fees, like acceptance fee, will lead to automatic forfeiture of admission. All successful students should also note that all payments are to be made online through http://lasu.edu.ng
After Accepting the School Admission Offer, What Next?
After accepting your admission offer, go ahead and make the necessary payment of fees. The first fee you will make is the payment of the acceptance fee. this fee is very important, because failure to pay the acceptance fee, will lead to automatic forfeiture of admission.
