It is very possible for an HND holder to submit an application for a Master’s study in Canada. In spite of that, if the student just holds an HND certificate, it is not likely that the student will be offered admission immediately into a master’s degree in Canada. The chances of getting admitted are very low.
Students should at least have a 2.1-grade average, so in order for Canadian colleges to accept them or they could be considered for placement based on their merits list for the third class.
On the other hand, if your application for the master’s degree program is being considered, that is after you have already applied with your third-class result, you will have to complete a PGD (Post graduate diploma) as a requirement that lasts for one year.
Then after completing the Post Graduate Diploma (PGD), you can enroll in the master’s program of your choice.
