Who is Eligible to Apply for Internships at NASA?

  • Candidates should be at the minimum age of 16, and they must be enrolled at least half-time in any accredited degree or certificate program with a GPA of 3.0.
  • Candidates who commit to a 640-hour internship before they graduate from college are eligible.
  • Students at any level of education are welcome as they can enroll full-time at an institution with regional or national accreditation. However, opportunities like this could be of great benefit to teachers who are interested in participating in NASA’s paid internship programs.
  • In some IEP positions, It is required that you must be enrolled in a specific degree program to be considered, and all candidates must meet any additional requirements listed in the announcement.

NASA Internships Application Process

The NASA Internships Application is Done Online, to make the application click on the link here https://intern.nasa.gov/

To make an application, you will have to first register for an account, then find an open Internship at NASA, then apply for it.

Your details will be required, Academic Credentials, Recommendations, and other documents supporting the NASA Internship applications.

When that is done, your applications will be reviewed by the NASA internship program coordinators once received. 

As soon as your application is chosen, you will be contacted by the program administrators as soon as possible. 

And due to the number of applications, NASA can only respond to those whose candidacy is being actively considered.
