General Admission Requirements for the Candidate into LASUED

The General Requirement for all Candidates who seek admission must have the following:

  • SSCE, WEAC, and NECO to get their original result before the 2024/2025 admission exercise.

FOR Direct Entry Applicants;

Here are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into the Lagos State University of Education, through Direct Entry:

  • Candidates must have at least a minimum of 5 credits passed in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) or an Ordinary Level Credits not more than a maximum of 2 sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates should have a minimum Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), Advanced Level Certificates, and  National Diploma (ND).
  • Aspirants must have First Class/Second Class Upper Degrees in their related fields of course of their choice
  • Having JUPEB/A Level passes in departmental-related subjects is very necessary.
  • Direct entry candidates who want to gain admission into the Lagos State University of Education are to purchase the Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And the school’s Portal.
