Overview of the Federal University Of Agriculture

The Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru was founded in 2020.  The first was established as the College of Agriculture, Zuru. The prestigious college of education had an affiliation with Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. 

The NBTE assumed the supervision and accreditation of the college programs, much after the establishment of the National Board for Technical Education (N.B.T.E) in 1977 by the Federal Government. 

Senator Barau Jibrin proposed the bill for the establishment of the university in 2019. Later that same year, around April 2019, the bill passed through the third reading. And after that, the university began its operation in September 2020.

Prior to the appointment of the present vice Chancellor of the university, Bello Zaki was the interim Vice-Chancellor of the school. His Excellency President Mohammed Buhari on April 2020, appointed Musa Isiyaku Ahmed as the Vice-Chancellor, and the same while Eze Eberechi N. JAMB UTME Admission Requirements

All the UTMEs should take note of these requirements and ensure that they meet them all if they want to be considered for admission into FUAZ.

• All the applicants must sit for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB UTME 
• Candidates should ensure that they meet the JAMB required cut-off marks for admission into the university.
• The minimum age for all applicants should not be less than 16 years but can be above
• Only applicants that choose FUTB as their first choice institution will be considered
• At least a minimum of credit pass in 5 (five) in the SSCE result (s), is required of all candidates. Mathematics and English Language inclusive
• SSCE result (s) should not be more than two sittings. Anything more than that will not be accepted
• The university will conduct an interview for all the students after they have met the admission requirements of the university, and all the candidates are expected to partake
• All the students must pass the screening interview to be conducted by the university.
• After meeting the general requirements of the university, the students must also meet the requirements of the faculty and departmental
• No transfer student will be accepted by the University for the meantime, until at least the first two years of its existence. 

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

Below are the requirements that direct entry students must meet before they are considered for admission.
