Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), is a state university that is located at Lapai, Niger, Niger State. IBBU General Admission Requirements
The general requirements for every candidate who chose Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, as their 1st (first) choice for the 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and score at least a minimum score of 150 are qualified to proceed to the IBBU application portal to apply for Post UTME.
IBBU Post-UTME Admission Requirements
Every interested applicant
- Must have a minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level certificate examinations, (WASCE/GCE/NECO)
- Must not be more than 2 sittings.
- Must access the JAMB brochure for the correct JAMB subject combination for their course.
- Must score at least 150 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to be considered for the offer of admission into IBBU.
- Must make IBBU his/her First Choice of Institution
- Must register and write the IBBU Post UTME/Screening examination to be qualified for admission
- Must have reached 16 years of old and above before application is accepted
IBBU Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Every interested applicant:
- Must have a minimum of 5 credits in the Ordinary Level certificate examinations, (WASCE/GCE)
- Must not be more than 2 sittings.
- Must obtain ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects that are related to the area of their course of study.
- Must have a degree of First Class/Second Class Upper, about the area of their course of study.
- Must obtain a Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and IBBU Portal likewise
- Must have a minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), and other advanced level certificates.
- Must make IBBU his/her First Choice of Institution, but if not can also change to IBBU
- Must have reached 16 years of old and above before application is accepted
