The Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola’s Governing Council has announced its cut-off point for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.
The Official Cut off-mark for MAUTECH Post-UTME Screening in the current Academic Session is 160.
To this end, all candidates who partook in the just concluded 2023/2024 UTME Examinations and obtained a minimum score of 160 are advised to go ahead with registering for the University’s Post UTME Exercise.

What Are MAUTECH Post UTME & DE Screening Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise, all candidates must meet the following requirements:
- In addition to scoring a minimum of 160 points in the just concluded UTME Exams or applying for Direct Entry (DE), Candidates must have selected Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola as their first choice Institution of Study.
- They must have also registered their profile in the Official MAUTECH Post UTME Portal.
- Candidates must have obtained at least 5 relevant O’Level credit passes, (Mathematics and English Language inclusive) in a number of sittings not exceeding two. This applies to both DE and UTME Candidates
- They must have duly printed out the 2023/2024 Result Slip
- Possession of at least a Lower Credit graded National Diploma in a relevant course and a minimum of 8 points with an appropriate subject combination at NCE and IJMB for Direct Entry (DE) Admission.
All Candidates must ensure that they upload the same O’Level results both on MAUTECH’s Portal and the Official JAMB Website (CAPS). This is because any irregularities in the results of any other information may result in disqualification of the affected Candidate
Also, ensure that you provide only authentic and valid documents as any false declarations or cases of forgery shall not be taken lightly.
Steps Of Application for MAUTECH Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form
- First, visit the MAUTECH Post-UTME portal at www.mautech.edu.ng.
- Then click on Apply Now
- The Login page then gets displayed
- Next, log in using your JAMB Registration Number as Username and Password
- After that, you are going to be redirected to the REMITA payment interface to effect the requisite Post-UTME payment of N2,000
- Next, select the payment option most convenient to you (i.e over the counter at a Bank Branch or with your Debit Card)
If paying with your ATM Card;
- Click on the ‘proceed to payment’ tab
- Select your type of Debit Card (Verve, Master Card, Visa Card)
- Input your Debit Card details including your ATM Pin Number as required and click on ‘submit’
- After that, an OTP will be sent to your phone/email to validate your transaction
- Then, input the received OTP to get on with your payment.
- After completing the payment successfully, you will then be redirected to the University’s Registration Platform to continue with your Registration.
If paying at a Bank Branch;
- After completing ‘Step Number 6’ above, click on the ‘Proceed to the Payment tab
- Next, select your Bank of choice
- Input your details as required details and click ‘submit’
- After that, print out the invoice that contains the RRR Number and then proceed with the RRR Number to the Bank to effect the payment of the requisite amount of N2,000.
- After successful payment, a receipt of payment would be generated and handed to you at the Bank.
- Next, log in to the School Portal, click on the Post-UTME link, and input your JAMB Registration Number as Username and Password after which you will be redirected to University’s Registration platform to continue with registration.
- Once you are done and the payment is successful, you will be required to choose your program of choice from the list of academic programs available
Educational Qualification;
- It is demanded of you to input your SSCE results not exceeding a maximum of two sittings alongside your examination number(s) and center (s)
- On the other hand, Direct Entry Candidates are expected to input the Institution and grade of any results obtained (OND, NCE, A-Level, FIND, etc.)
Passport/Documents Upload;
- You are required to upload a recent passport photograph of you with a plain red background. However, the passport must not exceed 50kb in file size and must be in JPEG format.
- Also, you will be required to upload scanned copies of the listed documents:
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- A printout of your Official JAMB Result Slip for UTME candidates and Acknowledgement Slip for DE Candidates
- Your A’ Level Result where available (ND, HND, NCE, etc)
- Your O’Level Results must not exceed two sittings
- Your Letter of Local Government Indigene.
(Note that each uploaded file must not exceed a file size of 100Kb)
- When done with filling and uploading all necessary documents, it is advised that you cross-check all entries to ensure accuracy. After crosschecking and ensuring that all provided details are correct, proceed by clicking on the ‘Submit Application’ Button to submit your application.
- After submitting your application successfully, your application page is going to be displayed after which you will have to print out your application form by clicking on the ‘Print Application button.

Ensure to use your name in the same order as you did in your JAMB UTME Applications.
Also, be sure to submit a valid phone number and email address as the University shall not be held responsible for any unsuccessful applications arising from invalid phone number(s) or email address(es)
Failure to upload your O’Level Certificates to the Official JAMB(CAPS) website means that you may not be considered for Admission into the University. This should be carried out at the nearest accredited JAMB CBT Centre.

Every eligible Candidate is encouraged to go to their scheduled venue for the Screening Exercise on time. Late coming is prohibited and all latecomers risk disqualification.
