Background of the Kano University of Science & Technology,
The effort to establish the Kanu State University of Science and Technology citadel of learning started with the then Governor of Kano state, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, during his first tenure between 1999 through 2003.
The university leadership is anchored on Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, the Vice Chancellor of the University.
The KUST has grown so fast in all areas, so much that, in the last few years ago, the university was ranked the 123rd in the list of best universities in Nigeria.
In 2022, the university was renamed after the African number one business tycoon Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, by the Governor of the state Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The prestigious citadel of learning is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Right now the university is no longer to be referred to as Kano University of Science & Technology but as Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST).

The Kanu State University of Science and Technology has 46 (forty-six) National Universities Council courses, and the school has about six faculties which include; the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of management Sciencesand the College of Medicine.

Post-UTME is an examination that is conducted by different Nigerian universities to test the intellectual or academic ability of their would-be students. post-UTME is as important as UTME itself, because if you pass JAMB UTME and fail post-UTME, you may not be considered for admission, so the screening exercise is indispensable.
How Much is KUST Post-UTME Form?
The Kano University of Science and Technology Post-UTME form for the 2023/2024 academic session, is not that expensive, it is just 2,500 hundred naira. 2,000 is the original registration cost, while the N500 is a bank charge.
It, however, is important and even mandatory for all aspiring students if you like. It is compulsory because if you don’t register, you have automatically disqualified yourself.

- Candidates that did not score up to160 in the just concluded JAMB UTME will not have a chance for admission
- Also, only those who took the KUST post-UTME screening examination and scored up to the school cut-off marks will be considered for admission.
- If your SSCE is more than one sitting results it will not be accepted for admission into the Kano University of Science and Technology
- Candidates’ subject combinations must also be correct for their courses.
- If candidates did not reach the cut-off mark, for the course about to study before, they will be considered for admission into the university.
KUST Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Now, these listed below are the admission requirement that every candidate who is seeking admission into the Kano University of Science and Technology must meet for the 2023/2024 academic session.
- The age limit of candidates before the application is 16 years and above
- The applicants must have at least 5 (five) Credits passes in their O’level result (s), and English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects in their area of specialization
- If your SSCE is more than one sitting results it will not be accepted for admission into the Kano University of Science and Technology
- Candidates’ subject combinations must also be correct for their courses.
- Before candidates will be considered for admission, they must get a JAMB Directly Entry form from JAMB to apply.
- All Direct Entry candidates who must be considered for admission must obtain the following certificates: OND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, and other certificates specified by the institution.

To apply for the KUST Post-UTME form, kindly follow these simple steps:
- Visit the school’s admission portal at https://KUSTpostutme.admissions.cloud/
- Click on the tab New Application.
- After that enter your name and phone number
- A login page will appear
- Enter your phone number as your Username as well as your password.
- a welcome page be displayed
- Confirm if the information you see is correct
- Then select a payment method from the options available
- When your payment is successful,
- The next thing is to fill out your application form. Here, you are expected to fill in all your personal details as indicated in the space provided
- From the list of available programs, select your program of study
- Enter your Educational Qualification(s)
- Upload your recently taken Passport Photograph of not more than 50kb in size, with a JPEG format
- Cross-examine all your information
- Click on the Submit application button.
- After successful submission
- Click and Print your Application
KUST Post-UTME Screening Date
The KUST post-UTME screening date for the 2023/2024 academic year has not been officially fixed but will be fixed soon after the post-UTME registration deadline, however, it is going to be between August and October.
