Creating Post Via Publishing Tools

The Publishing tools have a special feature on the Facebook Pages that enable creators to access all their posts on the Page at a spot and create their Facebook draft post. There are the steps to follow in order to achieve this:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account.
  2. At the newsfeed corner, click Pages in the left sidebar.
  3. Under Pages, click on your page You Manage’ section. 
  4. You will be redirected to your Facebook Homepage tab
  5. From the Manage Page, click on Publishing Tools
  6. Under the post section, click on drafts.
  7. Next, click on the Create button so as to open the window for creating your post
  8. Then you will see create your post.
  9. When you are done, click on the Save as Draft button.
  10. Then you have saved your post successfully.

Creating Post Via Studio Creator

If you want to edit your post drafts through the use of Creator Studio when you log in move to the Content Library that shows Posts and Drafts. 

1. Then click on the draft you want to edit and click Edit Post. 

2. When you are done editing, click Save, to save your post

3. Again still select the draft and click on Publish to publish your post

4. But if you want to schedule the post for a later date, click on the schedule 

Facebook Drafts for Personal Profile

When a post is created and it’s not published immediately, there should be an option that will help you to save the post as a draft.

Now for you to get back to that draft you created earlier, just log into Facebook and click on the What’s On Your Mind box in your News Feed where you usually compose your post. There is the draft you saved in the box waiting to be shared. Tap on publish it, if you are ready to make a post.

This process is applicable to Facebook on the web or mobile app users, although there are some differences.

  •  Note that the Facebook draft that you save on one device, will not sync with the one in the app on your other devices or the web.
  • Until you create a new post, the draft you saved will continue to be there. The draft you save will only remain until you create a new post, or edit the old draft before it will disappear

  2. Then select Pages on the left.

  4. You will be directed to the Meta Business Suite 
  5. From the Meta Business Suite section, select pick Publishing tools
  6. Then select Drafts, that is where you will find all saved drafts.

Reviewing and Editing Drafts

Now if you want to review your posts or make some changes to a particular draft, then select the draft and open it. Make your edits. And you can preview the post before posting it.

  • But before then, please save the work through these steps:
  • Select Save to save your new changes on the draft.
  • Then select Publish now or Schedule post.
  • Finally, select Cancel to discard the changes you have made.

Publishing a Draft

After you have known how to create a post, know how to edit it, and how to save it the next thing you should know how to do is publish the post you have created. However, if you want to schedule or publish your draft immediately, you just have to hover your cursor over the list of the drafts you have made, and then select the three dots, from there you will pick the one you want from the options.
