Price Of FUBK 2023/2024 Screening Form 

The cost of FUBK’s Post-UTME Screening Form is 2,000 Naira Only. 

All Candidates who meet the stated eligibility criteria and wish to take part in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise are advised to make payment of the non-refundable fee (N2000) via the University’s Portal after generating their RRR Number on the REMITA Platform

What is FUBK’s Post-UTME Screening Date for the 2023/2024 Academic Session?

The Official date has not yet been set for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise of the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi

All eligible candidates shall be notified when the dates have been set for the Screening Exercise through appropriate channels. 

You shall be duly updated on our blog when that happens.

What Are FUBK Post UTME & DE Screening Eligibility Criteria?

To be eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise, all candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • In addition to scoring a minimum of 160 points in the just concluded UTME Exams or applying for Direct Entry (DE), Candidates must have selected Federal University, Birnin Kebbi as their first choice Institution of Study.
  • They must have also registered their profile in the Official FUBK Post UTME Portal.
  • Candidates must have obtained at least 5 relevant O’Level credit passes, (Mathematics and English Language inclusive) in a number of sittings not exceeding two. This applies to both DE and UTME Candidates
  • They must have duly printed out the 2023/2024 Result Slip
  • Possession of at least a Lower Credit graded National Diploma in a relevant course and a minimum of 8 points with the appropriate subject combination at NCE and IJMB for Direct Entry (DE) Admission.

All Candidates must ensure that they upload the same O’Level results both on FUBK’s Portal and the Official JAMB Website (CAPS). This is because any irregularities in the results of any other information may result in disqualification of the affected Candidate

Also, ensure that you provide only authentic and valid documents as any false declarations or cases of forgery shall not be taken lightly.

Steps Of Application for FUBK Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form

Log in to the School Portal and Sign-In

First, visit the Post UTME Portal of the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi at https://putme.fubk.edu.ng.  

Then, with your JAMB Registration Number and State of Origin as the default password, log in to the school’s portal.

If you experience any challenges with logging in, do well to contact mis@fubk.edu.ng.

Change Your Password

After successfully logging in with the details outlined above, ensure that the candidate’s dashboard and the details that come up are both yours and correct. 

If there are any errors in the details or if the profile that comes up is not yours, log out and lay a complaint by contacting the University at mis@fubk.edu.ng.

If the details are accurate, proceed and create a new password. After creation, confirm the new password  and click on ‘Update Password’

Bio-Data Update

After completing the step above, you are going to be redirected to the Bio-data page.

When on the Bio-data page, ensure to confirm that the displayed information is correct. 

If correct, proceed but if there are any system-generated errors, please, do well to log out and contact mis@fubk.edu.ng with your complaints.

When done, Update your date of birth and local Government Area of Origin, and click on ‘Update Bio-Data’

Contact Address Update

Up next, you will be required to supply your current Contact Address. 

These include email address, phone number, and home address.

You will be demanded to provide these for yourself, and your next of kin. 

You should be very careful and ensure to provide only accurate information as you may, in due course, be contacted by the University through the pieces of contact information you provide especially with regards to the date of the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

O’Level result update

When supplying your O’Level results, ensure to add the correct Center Number, Examination Year, and Examination Number.

Only the grades for five(5) subjects are required per sitting. 

If you are using only one sitting, you should go ahead and complete the ‘First Sitting Section’ only but if you are using two sittings, then complete both sections. 

Invoice Generation

Locate and click on the ‘PUTME Screening’ button on the left tab to display your Invoice Information.

Next, click on the ‘Pay via Remita’ button to create your Invoice. 

You can pay via any of the suggested payment options (over the counter at the Bank or with your debit card etc)

Once payment is made, log in to the Portal to confirm the payment you have made to proceed with your registration process.

Complete Your Registration

Once done with the payment, click on the ‘proceed’ button after confirming your payment to complete the registration.

You will be then required to upload your passport and agree to any stated terms and conditions to enable you finally submit your application.

However, be sure to cross-check every piece of information supplied as you will not be able to make any more changes to your application once you make this final submission.

Document Printing

After making your final application submission, you will then be able to print both your registration and payment slips.

However, you can always reprint them by revisiting the portal.

Also, ensure to go to the Screening Venue with every required printout in your custody.

NOTE: 

Every candidate is expected to come to the Screening Venue with the following :

  • Both the Original and photocopy of the UTME result slip
  • Evidence of payment for the Screening exercise
  • Both original and photocopies of all credentials
  • The Post-UTME Registration Slip

Key Facts To Note About The FUBK Post-UTME Screening

Ensure to use your name in the same order as you did in your JAMB UTME Applications.

Also, be sure to submit a valid phone number and email address as the University shall not be held responsible for any unsuccessful applications arising from invalid phone number(s) or email address(es)

Failure to upload your O’Level Certificates to the Official JAMB(CAPS) website means that you may not be considered for Admission into the University. This should be carried out at the nearest accredited JAMB CBT Centre.

To be eligible to apply for this Admission Screening Exercise, you must have reached a minimum age of 16 years or above 

Every eligible Candidate is encouraged to go to their scheduled venue for the Screening Exercise on time. Late coming is prohibited and all latecomers risk disqualification.

If you had selected the University as your second choice Institution, you are advised to go ahead and change it to your First choice Institution. If you do not change it, you will not be considered for Admission into the University as it accepts only First Choice entries.  

You can register for the Screening Exercise from any location so there is no need to come to the school for the registration. Register online from your current location.
