JAMB UTME Admission Requirements
The admission requirements below are the criteria that all the applicants into the undergraduate programs of the university shall meet for them to be considered for admission:
- It is through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that all the school’s admissions shall be considered.
- All the 100 Level applicants must reach the age of 16 and above
- They must also choose FUTIA as their first choice institution
- All candidates must obtain five (5) credits at SSCE or equivalent relative to their subjects
- All SSCE results will not be more than 2 sittings, credit passes in English and Mathematics are included
- They must meet the acceptable UTME cut-off marks in their relevant subjects
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
The admission requirements below are the criteria that all the applicants into the undergraduate programs of the university shall meet for them to be considered for admission:
- It is through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that all the school’s admissions shall be considered.
- All the 100 Level applicants must reach the age of 16 and above
- They must also choose FUTIA as their first choice institution
- But if they did not choose FUTIA as their first choice, then they have to apply for a change of institution through JAMB
- All candidates must obtain five (5) credits at SSCE or equivalent relative to their subjects
- All SSCE results will not be more than 2 sittings, credit passes in English and Mathematics are included
- They must meet the acceptable UTME cut-off marks in their relevant subjects
- For direct entry (200 Level) admission, candidates shall also possess at least two (2) A’ level or its equivalent passes in relevant subjects
- Or they should obtain a National Diploma (ND) with credit passes,
- Or they should get a good first degree in another field all things being equal
- For all Direct Entry applicants’ credit passes in English Language and Mathematics shall be compulsory for admission into all courses
- Until after at least the first two years of the school’s existence, the university shall not accept transfer students.
