About Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University

Without wasting much time, let me use this little time to put you through a little about COOU. Before now, COOU was a state-owned university known as the Anambra State University (ANSU) Uli and was later named after the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) 

The school has been officially accredited and recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC) of Nigeria. The University was established by the Anambra State Government law No.13 of 2000. It has ree different campuses thus; the Uli campus, the Alor campus, and the Igbariam campus

 In order to immortalize the leader of the breakaway Republic of Biafra, the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Anambra State House of Assembly, on 11 September 2014, passed a  bill that changed the name of the university from Anambra State University (ANSU), to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli.

  • Log into the website at http://portal.coou.edu.ng 
  • Search for the Confirm Admission Status on the Undergraduate page
  • When you have done that, generate your N1,500 invoice and pay via Remita, through the listed banks
  •  You can also pay with your ATM online.
  • Then get back to the COOU portal and click on Verify Account for the login details.
  • When have had access, make your payment and print the receipt, you will need it later
