- But if you are a candidate from a Polytechnic or Monotechnic with a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit, you can also apply for Postgraduate Diploma Programs.
Duration of Postgraduate Diploma Program (PGD)

Full-Time:
If you are doing a part-time program, you will spend a Minimum is 2 Semesters, while the maximum period for a part-time program is 3 Semesters
Part-Time:
part-time program will last for a Minimum of 4 Semesters, while the Maximum period is 6 Semesters
Master’s Degree Programs
Applicants of the master’s degree programs will have to fulfill the following requirements:
- If your university does not use FCGPA, then you have to hold a minimum FCGPA of 2.50 on a 5-point scale or a minimum of 45%
- You will be required to have a minimum overall score of 60% if you are among the candidates with an unclassified degree.
- You can also apply for the program, if you have an FCGPA of 3.00 and above, on a 5-point scale, as the shoulder of a postgraduate diploma, from a recognized institution.
Duration Master’s Degree Programs
Qualified applicants for this program will spend the following periods before completing the program:
Full-Time:
Full-time applicants are going to spend a minimum of about 3 (three) months before they complete their programs, while the maximum time frame is 6 (six) months.
Part-Time:
Part-time candidates will spend a minimum of 4 (four) months and 8 (eight) months of the maximum time period.
M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree Programs
The requirements for applicants who are qualified to apply for M.Phil./Ph. D. Degree Program are;
Those who are to apply for this program are those who hold a master’s degree in the relevant field of studies, with an FCGPA of 3.20-3.49 (on a 5-point scale) from recognized universities.
Period for M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree Programs
Here is the time frame for the program, depending if you are applying for a part-time or full-time.
Full-Time:
Applicants who apply for a part-time of M.Phil./Ph. D. Degree will spend a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 3 months to complete this program.
Part-Time;
In the same vein, those who are going for the part-time program will last for 3 (three) months minimum, and 4 months maximum to complete the program.
Doctor of Philosophy Programs
Those who can apply for this program are those that have these qualifications below;
- Those applying for doctor of philosophy programs must have an FCGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale or a minimum of 60% for Universities that do not use the FCGPA, they must hold a master’s degree in the proposed field of study.
- Candidates who are applying for PhD in Clinical Oncology, are required to have MBBS and MSc in related fields of study.

Duration for Doctor of Philosophy Programs
Full-Time:
The duration for those who apply full-time applicants to the Doctor of Philosophy is a minimum of 6 (six) months and a maximum of 10 (ten) months. Minimum.
Part-Time:
The duration for those who apply for full-time applicants of the Doctor of Philosophy is a minimum of 8 (eight) months and a maximum of 14 (fourteen) months. Minimum:
