This is to inform all the applicants who choose FUTO as their first choice institution that the management of the University has finally released the official JAMB UTME cut-off mark and the departmental cut-off marks for all the departments and the courses in them.

However, if you have been waiting for them to release the departmental cut-off mark for all the courses and departments, then you are lucky to have found this page, so read on and find out the cut-off mark for your own course and department.

FUTO Official JAMB And Departmental Cut-Off Mark for all Courses

One important thing that I want all the candidates to know is that the JAMB official cut-off mark is not the same as that of the departments.

The JAMB official cut-off mark is usually less compared to the departmental cut-off marks. That is to say that the department cut higher scores than JAMB.

In that regard, it is possible to score 180 and not be offered admission if the departmental cut-off is 200 for instance.

So let us move straight to the departmental cut-off marks now.

FUTO JAMB Official Cut-off Mark

For the 2023/2024 academic session, the JAMB official cut-off mark has been published, the cut-off mark is set at 180, therefore, all the candidates are to ensure that their JAMB scores reach 180, before they apply for the FUTO Post UTME screening exercise.

Important Note:

You must score above 180, so that if the department you are applying for cuts higher than that you can still have a chance of getting admission, so don’t rejoice yet, when you find out that JAMB’s general cut-off mark is 180.

Conclusion

Don’t forget that the cut-off mark for JAMB is not the same as that of the department. And if you meet the general cut-off mark of JAMB, is not a guarantee that you will be offered admission if your score does not reach the requirement of the department.
