Statement of purpose/Motivation letter
This is also called a motivation letter. It is a one-page statement that has about 400 words, explaining why you choose to apply to a particular University.
This will also state why you choose a course and how it relates to your life goals and ambitions.
You need all honesty when writing your statement of purpose, there is no need to hyperbolize it.
Academic transcripts
You will need to forward to the University that want to offer you the scholarship.
Your transcript is a document that shows the record of your academic performance in the last high school, college, or University you attended.
If the transcript is translated from other languages, then you need to submit only the one translated into the English language.
It is through this document that the selection committee will see your achievement and also assess your credibility.
Recommendation letter
A Letter of Recommendation is a document that is written by those who are close to you or those who know you very well.
Make sure that it is someone who supervises your work, and that can say something credible about you in the letter. Someone who doesn’t know you well will not be able to recommend you.
This letter is written for instance by your teacher, lecturer, employer, and others who know your ability and who you truly are.
This letter explains certain key information about you such as

Curriculum vitae/Resume
Another important document that you need to present to your scholarship institution is your curriculum vitae.
Your curriculum vitae or resume is a document that will speak more about your achievements, qualities, and skills.
If well crafted, it is going to serve as a means of creating the first impression on the selection committee and make you stand out from all others.
It is possible that you don’t have any job experience for now, in that case, you have to include your study experiences, hobbies, interests, achievements, and social skills.

Your SSCE/WASSCE
Another document that you need, is your Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).
For the sake of convincing that you completed your secondary school, you will have to add to those documents your WASSCE certificate, that is if it is an international scholarship, but if it is national, then your WASSCE is a very essential document that you cannot do without.

Apart from the above documents, there are other documents that you also need for this scholarship. Two important scholarship documents you need again are:

Parent’s/Guardian’s Financial Background
Your parents or guardians must have enough funds in their bank account that meet the financial demands of the institution.
Medical report document
You also have to present a medical report document from your doctor, to satisfy that you are mentally sound.
Howbeit, if you have any medical complications that require you to be given special and preferential treatment, that will be noticed in the medical report document.
