The Embassy of France in  Nigeria is giving an opportunity scholarship program to finance a Master’s Degree in a French university for the 2023/2024 academic year.

This Scholarship is funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. They are in collaboration with the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research. Eligibility Criteria For The Scholarship

The following criteria will be needed before you can apply, make sure you check the list below to be sure you are qualified to apply for the scholarship.

  • Must have completed your National Service Program (NYSC)
  • Must be a citizen of Nigeria residing in Nigeria
  • Be a Bachelor’s Degree (Bs.D) Holder or A Higher National Diploma (HND) Holder In the related field mentioned above.
  • Must be committed to taking up the course in France for the academic year.
  • Proficiency in French is not a requirement

Timeline For The Program

  • From the 6th of November and 15th of December 2023 at 11:59 pm (Nigerian Time); the Applicant should register on the program, select the field of Environment/Risk Management, then send their document through email.
  • Then from the 15th of January to March 2024, There will be an Application Interview for all candidates. The application for the scholarship must be mentioned during the interview that the candidate wishes to apply for.
  • From April to May 2024, Admissions are given in Public Universities (Institutions).
  • In June 2024, There will be an Interview for Pre-selected candidates.
  • On the 1st of July 2024, the List of Candidate who are awarded are published.
  • September/October is the departure of the Selected candidate to France.
