Background of the Nigerian Army University
The Nigerian Army University was established in 2018. The Nigerian Army University is the first Nigerian Army university in Nigeria. It is known as Africa’s First Green University. The university is located in Biu Bornu state. It is not only army students that are there, it is mixed.

The burden of the leader of the university was first on the shoulder of the first approved Vice AChancellor, Prof. David Iliya Malgwi. The approval was made by the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai on May 2019.
But on March 2020, Prof. Kyari Mohammed was approved as the Vice Chancellor of the University. So right now Prof. Kyari Mohammed remains the VC of the institution.
NAUB School Fees
NAUB school fee is divided into two, the school fees for freshmen and that of returning students. It will interest you to know that the fees paid by the new students are much higher than the fees of returning students.
This is because, the new students will have to pay for a lot of things including acceptance fees, and hostel accommodation.
What is School Fee?
School fee is a levy that is charged to a student who is a bona fide student of a government-approved school or institution, be it a private or government-owned school. In any center of learning, be it formal or informal, students are required to pay fees, and any student who fails to pay can be suspended,
NAUB Acceptance Fee
For those that do not know how much NAUB pay for their acceptance fee, here is the amount for the fee. The Nigerian Army University NAUB’s acceptance fee is not too expensive. All the applicants who successfully get admission into the school will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of N5,000 (five thousand nairas) only.
All the admitted student who fails to pay this fee has automatically forfeited their admission, therefore, all new students are advised to pay their acceptance fee in time. In fact, payment of acceptance fees by students is proof that the newly admitted student has accepted the admission offered to such a student.
