Overview of Ebonyi State University Abakiliki

The Ebonyi State University (EBSU) Abakiliki, was founded in 1999 by Sam Egwu, While the university’s medical faculty was established in 1991 as ESUT’s Faculty of Health Sciences.

 It was at this point in time that the College of Agricultural Science started at the  Abakaliki Campus of the then-Anambra State University of Technology, ASUTECH.

In September 1999, the school became a fully pronounced university, the same also gave birth to the Post-Graduate School of the University. The University of Ebonyi State is a state government university, led by professor Chigozie Nkwor Ogbu, OFR, JP,  the Vice Chancellor of the  University. The institution is operating with four campuses, which are Presco, Ishieke, CAS, and the Permanent site.

  6. Click on the submit and proceed to generate the pin
  7. After generating the pin, print it out.

EBSU UTME Admission Requirements for 2023/2024

For to gain admission as a prospective student of EBSU you must meet certain requirements.  The EBSU admission requirements through UTME are listed below:

Age Range: Prospective applicants must be up to sixteen (16) years of age and above

O’Level: Only two sitting O’level is not accepted

5 credit passes are accepted from a candidate from either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB,  including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects related to their course of study.

JAMB Score: You must score up to 160 cut-off marks in your UTME. Must have the right subject combinations in line with your course of study

Admission Requirement for EBSU Direct Entry 

For Direct Entry applicants to be considered for admission they have to fulfill the following requirements:

JAMB: The JAMB Direct Entry form from JAMB official website is required from Direct Entry students.

Age Range: Prospective applicants must be up to sixteen (16) years of age and above

O’Level: Only two sitting O’level is not accepted

5 credit passes are accepted from a candidate from either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB,  including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects related to their course of study.

Direct Entry: The following certificates are required from direct entry students: OND, NCE, Cambridge A level, IJMB, BSc, and HND
