Graduate Engineer:

Registered Engineer:-
Category one (1)
These are engineers who have been certified in a COREN-accredited university and have an engineering qualification from a registered engineering company after their completion of the four years of work experience either in a public engineering firm or a private engineering firm. And has passed the stipulated engineering exams which allowed him to be registered.
Eligibility
- Certificate of engineering from a certified engineering company alongside translated transcripts.
- a registered graduate engineer as stated above with the required minimum years of experience (4 years).
- Nysc discharge certificate.
- Must have Passed an EPE conducted by the COREN.
- Must have earned the minimum required 17 CPD/CPE points.

Category Two (2)
This has to compulsorily do with Conversion/Upgrading. A Holder of a title of C.Eng or P.Eng of an internationally recognized Engineering Council (i.e. ECUK, PEC, Engineers Australia, BEM, etc.)
Eligibility
- The eligibility criteria for this category is a satisfactory engineering requirement of category one as stated above.
Category Three (3)
persons or engineers in the category are persons with an HND in the engineering field and a COREN certificate from a COREN-accredited university in the field of civil engineering either as an HND or PGD.
Eligibility
- A Diplom – Ingenieur from Continental Europe (registrable after 4 years)
- A Degree in Engineering from the Eastern Block translated as M.Sc. and New B. Sc. (registrable after 4 years)
- An HND in engineering + M.Eng. in engineering (registrable after 2 years)
- A Full technological certificate (obtained not later than 1999) + PGD + M. Eng. (registrable after 2 years)
- B.Sc. (Science) + M.Eng. (in relevant field) + 10 years post-graduate experience and not less than 50 years of age.
Requirement

- Certificate of engineering from a certified engineering company alongside translated transcripts
- Must have earned the minimum required 17 CPD/CPE points.

Engineering Technologist
This category is for individuals who have completed a recognized engineering program with an accredited engineering qualification of HND or its equivalent in Engineering in a recognized institution and have completed the NYSC program or have been exempted from it, and also have worked or are working with a registered engineering public organization company under the supervision of registered engineers.
Categories of persons in this field include;
Category One(1)
A graduate of engineering technologist as described above who has not yet registered with COREN. but has gotten a certified certificate from a COREN-accredited university with the professional experience required to be eligible to be registered in GET
- An HND in Engineering certificate from COREN accredited Polytechnics or Monotechnic in Nigeria.
- A Degree in Engineering from Eastern Europe translated as B.Sc. before 1993
- Ingr-Gra from Continental Europe
- A. Tech. in Engineering certificate from an accredited American University as Contained in the updated ABET List
Requirement
- Completed registration form submitted through the COREN online portal.
- Certificate of engineering from a certified engineering company alongside translated transcripts
Category Two (2)
A registered GET must have obtained the compulsory engineering experience of four (4) years
An HND certificate in Engineering from a COREN accredited Polytechnics or a Monotechnic.
A Degree in Engineering from Eastern Europe translated as B.Sc. before 1993
Ingr-Gra from Continental Europe
A Tech. certificate in Engineering from an accredited American University as Contained in ABET List
Is a registered Graduate Engineering technologist and has acquired a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional engineering experience as stipulated.
An NYSC discharge certificate
He/She has passed EPE conducted by COREN.
Earned the required 17 CPD/CPE points

Category three (3)
An engineering student who is a holder of the full technological certificate (FTC) that acquired the additional qualification of PGD in the same field of engineering.
- A Full Technological Certificate (FTC) engineer who has or is obtaining the additional qualification of PGD in the relevant field of Engineering.
- Either registered with COREN as Graduate Technology or not but he/she has acquired a minimum of 4 years of professional experience as stipulated.
Requirements:

- An evaluation report from the International Engineering Alliance
- Proof of payment of registration fees
Corporate Membership
This category is for engineering firms or companies. To register as a corporate member, the following requirements must be met:
- Completed registration form
- Copy of certificate of incorporation
- Copy of tax clearance certificate
- Evidence of payment of registration fees
- List of professional engineers in the company
