Ajayi Polytechnic is a private polytechnic that was established in 2017. It also receives full approval from the Federal Government of Nigeria and the academic authority that governs the Polytechnic,f the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) that same 2017. The Ajayi Polytechnic is led by Professor M. F. Alonge, an educationist and an academic of excellence.

The vision of the Ajai Polytechnic is to ensure that they produce skilled technicians and managers who will become driven by entrepreneurship, while her mission is enforcing technical and managerial skills that will make her students the most sought-after in their different areas of specialization, that have to do with their entrepreneurial future. The whole idea behind the establishment of the institution was for individuals to be self-reliant or gainfully employed.

That notwithstanding, it is still making an effort to ensure that all the programs are available for the National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, and other Certificates courses at all levels.

  • National Diploma (FULL-TIME): 2 Years
  • Diploma: 1 Year
  • Professional Certificate Programmes: 3 Month

Admission Requirements

This is applied to those entrants at the National Diploma (ND) and those at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level.

National Diploma (ND) Admission Requirement

For those applying for the National Diploma (ND), they are required to satisfy certain admission requirements before they think of gaining admission from the institution, the requirements are outlined below:

For those applying for the National Diploma (ND), they are required to satisfy certain admission requirements before they think of gaining admission from the institution, the requirements are outlined below:

  • The candidate must have registered and sat for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB
  • Candidate JAMB score must reach the JAMB required cut-off mark, to qualify for the school post-UTME screening exercise
  • Candidates must also make Ajayi Polytechnic their first choice institution
  • Candidate must have 5 (five) credits passes in their O’ level results, be it NECO/WASSCE, English Language and Mathematics must be included.
  • The O’ level result must not exceed two sittings
  • Candidates applying for admission must be the age of 16 or above

Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirement

For those applying for the National Diploma (ND), they are required to satisfy certain admission requirements before they think of gaining admission from the institution, the requirements are outlined below:

  • The candidate must have registered and sat for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB
  • Candidate JAMB score must reach the JAMB required cut-off mark, to qualify for the school post-UTME screening exercise
  • Candidates must also make Ajayi Polytechnic their first choice institution
  • Candidate must have 5 (five) credits passes in their O’ level results, be it NECO/WASSCE, English Language and Mathematics must be included.
  • The O’ level result must not exceed two sittings
  • Candidates applying for admission must be the age of 16 or above
  • Must have a lower credit of 2 in the  National DiplomaMust have 12 months of supervised industrial experience
  • Have at least a lower credit at the National Diploma program
  • The transcript is required for admission into HND
