What are the admission requirement criteria for those seeking admission as postgraduate students at the institution? The following are the admission requirements;
Postgraduate Diploma Requirement
For a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD),
- You have to obtain a degree
- Or a Higher National Diploma (HND), or its equivalent
- Applicants must have a degree of at least a Second Class (Lower Division)
Duration of Studies for Diploma
Those applying for admission into the Diploma program will spend about two semesters before they can complete their studies. And that is for full-time candidates.
Masters Degree Programs Admission Requirement
Candidates of the master’s degree program must possess the following admission requirement:
- At least a Second Class (Lower Division)
- They can be graduates of LCU, or any other recognized institution
Duration of Masters Degree Studies
How long will the postgraduate program last? All full-time study for the Master’s degree will last for 3 (Three Semesters), which is 18 months, all things being equal.
Masters of Philosophy Admission Requirement
Masters of Philosophy candidates are to possess these requirements:
- They must have M.Sc from LCU or any recognized institution in Nigeria
- Direct admission into P.H.D are to have M.Phi, with a CGPA of 4.00 or 60%
Duration of Master of Philosophy
- The postgraduate program for this program will last for four semesters
- The Ph.D. program duration is for six semesters.
Document Required
The documents required from the applicants are:
- 4 passport photographs (Formal dressing).
- 6 small-sized envelopes.
- 6 postal stamps (₦50 each).
- 2 photocopies of their birth certificate.
- The original transcript.
- 2 photocopies of their identification card.
