FEDPOLYADO Admission Instruction and Courses Offered  – The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti which was formally known as the School of Technology, was then established in 1978.

From that moment it has trained both national and Higher National Diplomates in Computer Science, Statistics and Science, Glass and Ceramic Technology, and Food Technology.

The school’s very objective is to organise national conferences and workshops. They develop and nurture a culture which the school has which is Academic research in school.

There are various requirements for Nationa Deplomat and Higher National Deplomat, to be admitted into any of the categories, you must meet the criteria below:

FEDPOLYADO Admission Entry Requirements for ND Candidates

For ND candidates to qualify for the school’s admission here are the following qualifications a candidate must possess. 

  1. As a Candidate for National Diploma (ND), to qualify for the FEDPOLYADO Admission screening procedure, the candidate must meet the cut-off mark for the course to be offered in Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti.
  2. Check out your departmental and faculty criteria before admission at the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti (Fedpolyado).
  3. Another qualification for the screening requirement is that you must have at least 5 credit passes in the relevant courses, which includes English Language and Mathematics, that’s for the GCE O’level, WASSCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, and it should not be more than two (2) sittings.
  4. An applicant must be up to the age of 16 years old in the admission year.

FEDPOLYADO Admission Entry Requirements for HND Candidates

For HND candidates to be qualified for the school’s admission here are the following qualifications a candidate must possess. 

  1. As an aspirant of HND, you must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic or from any polytechnic, you can also obtain an equivalent qualification from similar institutions,  whose programmes have earned NBTE accreditation.
  2. This very very Requirement is a must, Candidates must possess a National Diploma Certificate in the course they intend to pursue at the Higher National Diploma level.
  3. Without a candidate’s Jamb, they may not have the opportunity to go for service (NYSC) National Youth Service Corps.
  4. candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) Ordinary Level credit passes at two (2) sittings,  and that includes English Language and  Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or in NABTEB examination.
  5. All candidates who seek admission into the Polytechnic for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must be sure to be first offered admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). 
  6. As an aspirant, without your admission letter and registration number from JAMB for the National Diploma programme, you are not eligible for admission into the Higher National Diploma programmes
  7. An Aspirant, who seeks HND programmes must have obtained 1 year Post National Diploma, Industrial Experience.
Take note of the following:
  • Any candidate Offering Applied Chemistry at HND should obtain at least a credit in Chemistry at SSCE/NECO/NABTEB.
  • Candidate offering  Biochemistry at HND,  credit in Chemistry and Biology at any of the following and is very necessary: SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • As an aspirant, If you are offering Microbiology at HND, you must possess credit in Chemistry and Biology at SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • The equipment for the National Diploma is listed above, the applicant must obtain them all.
  • As one of the requirements, applicants must possess at least a lower credit level pass in the National Diploma in Science Technology Programme.
  • As required, a 1-year post-National Diploma in Science Technology Programme is very necessary.
