The ceremony encapsulate students who graduated from the institution from the 2017/2018, 2018/2019, and 2019/2022 academic session.
About UNIUYO Convocation 2023
The UNIUYO 26th, 27th, and 28th Combine Convocation Ceremony, has been scheduled to honor candidates who successfully graduated from the prestigious institution with the conferring of the following honors and degrees:
- Honorary Degrees,
- Higher Degrees,
- First Degrees and present Diplomas,
- Certificates students
- And various Prizes to be awarded to students
UNIUYO Convocation Fees for all Graduands
The UNIUYO 2023 combined 26th, 27th, and 28th convocation graduates are expected to pay for their convocation fee. The big question here is, how much is the convocation fee that the graduates will pay?

UNIUYO Convocation Ceremony Fees
How much will the graduates pay for this convocation ceremony? The following fees are to be paid by the different graduands:
First Degree Fee
First Degree to pay the sum of = N15,000
Diploma Graduands Fee
Diploma graduands to pay the sum of = N15,000
Certificate Students Fee
Certificate students are to pay the sum of = N15,000
Master’s Degree Graduands Fee
Master’s Degree graduands will pay a fee of N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira)
Postgraduate Diploma Graduates graduates will pay a fee of N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira).
Ph.D. Graduands Fees
Ph.D. Graduands for the convocation are to pay the sum of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira). The amount above covers the convocation gown and cap of the Ph.D. graduands.
Alumni Association Fee
Another fee that all graduands need to pay is the alumni association fee, which is the sum of N3,000.00 (Three Thousand Naira). The payment is to be made by all, except those who already paid for it.
Convocation Fee Payment Deadline
All the convocating students are to pay their fees between September and October 6, 2023. That is to say that 6 October is the deadline for payment.
However, from October 9, 2023, going forward the management will commence late payment of fees that will go with a penalty of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira).
In the same vein, master’s degree graduands and postgraduate program graduands who pay late, that is from October 9, 2023, will pay a penalty fee of the sum of N25,000.00 (Twenty-five Thousand Naira).
Convocation Date
When will the University of Uyo perform the 26th, 27th, and 28th Combine Convocation Ceremony? The management of the University has scheduled the convocation to commence on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, and bring the ceremony to a conclusion on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Collection of Academic Gowns and Guest Invitations
The convocation gowns and guest invitation cards are available to the Faculty Officers or the Secretary of the Postgraduate School, however, all the graduating students are advised to go there and get their gowns and guest invitation cards.

All the graduates are required to return their convocation owns after the event, as those who fail to comply with the directive will be paying a fine of N2,000.00(Two Thousand Naira).
