Federal Certificate for Education, was founded in 1977 and has been approved by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National University Commission (NUC). the school was formally founded as a Federal Advanced Teacher’s College (Special).
The College is led by Professor Usman, Kamoru Olayiwola who is the sixth substantive Provost of the college. He is a renowned Professor of Mathematics, who was lecturing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Enugu. The institution was established in order to give a sound training program to teachers.

On the first day of the ceremony, the school management will go around to commission all the new projects that have been completed by the institution.
Projects Commissioning Time: The commissioning of the projects will take place at exactly 9: a.m., as scheduled by the school management.
Convocation Lecture:
Still, there will be a convocation lecture for all the students who will be honored. This is usually a highlight of the ceremony for the convocating students. In the lecture, renowned personalities will be featured, and they will give an insight into the graduating students and share life experiences that will benefit them and the academic institution at large.
Convocation Lecture Venue:

On the second day of the event, the management will continue with the commissioning of the projects that was started on the first day.
Project Commissioning Time:
On day two of the project commissioning, the continuous commissioning will start around 9:am prompt.
Convocation Ceremony
The convocation ceremony will be held on the D-Day of the ceremony. This is the grand finale of the entire ceremony. It is at this event that the convocating students will be awarded their certificates.
