Is JAMB Form for the 2023 Admission Process Out?
Currently, the JAMB form for 2024/2025 admission is not yet out, as the management of the exam regulatory body hasn’t announced the sales of the exam form yet.
When is the 2024/2025 Jamb Registration Starting?
Since there is no official press release from JAMB regarding the start of its 2024/2025 registration against the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, I will say that the commencement date for JAMB registration is quite unknown.
However, this post will be updated once JAMB has announced the latest commencement date for the sales of the 2024/2025 UTME form.
So, keep reading the article to be guided on the requirements for the 2024 JAMB registration.
What’s the Cost of the JAMB Form?
Usually, the cost of the JAMB form is N3,500.
Howbeit, there might be other incurred charges you might pay in the process of acquiring the form! Some of the incurred charges included;
- Compulsory Reading Text – 500
- Service Charge for Registration – 700
If you do the calculation, you will see that the charge already amounts to 4,700.
However, make sure your budget for this is more than the 4700 stated here. Also, Foreign candidates are to pay the sum of $20
N/B: 2024 JAMB UTME candidates are required to register for their UTME exam at any accredited jamb center in their state, as any registrations carried out at an unaccredited center will be nullified.
What Do You Need for JAMB Registration?
The basics things that will be required from you to be eligible for the JAMB UTME registration include but are not limited to;
- Valid Email Address that you can access
- Your Personal Phone Number
- Your National Identification Number (NIN)
- Passport Photograph
- O’level/A’level Result
- JAMB E-pin
- Jamb Profile Code
- Your Accurate BioData
- Your registration fee
⇒ EMAIL ACCOUNT
This Email Account is very necessary for Jamb Registration, if you do not have an Email account, you will have to create one, but if you do have an email account already, no need to create another one, use it for Jamb registration to create profile account on Jamb. Your email password will also be needed, so make sure your email account is active.
For those who do not have an Email Account, here are the steps on how to create an Email Address:
- Go to the google account sign-in page.
- Click Create an account. https://accounts.google.com/SignUp
- Follow the link above to create your email address.
⇒ NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (NIN)
You might be wondering why NIN is A candidate who wants to register for Jamb must have their NIN ready, for those who have not yet registered for their NIN, please go to the nearest NIMC for NIN registration, because without your NIN you can’t register for Jamb, and get any access to Jamb. Your NIN will be linked to Jamb.
⇒ PHONE NUMBER
You might wonder if the phone number is really necessary. YES! it is very necessary. Your phone number is what will be used to create the Jamb profile code, those who did create their profile code last year can retrieve it using that same phone number. The phone number will be used to fill in your biodata. I hope you now understand why your phone number is very important for Jamb Registration.
⇒ O’LEVEL RESULT / A’LEVEL RESULT
For a candidate registering for Jamb 2024/2025, your Olevel result will be needed to complete your registration, without the result, it’s incomplete, O’level results are WEAC, and NECO GTB,.. while A’level results are being used as a direct entry.
With O’Level / A’level you can get admission, that’s if the subject has up to 5 credit pass with the compulsory subjects.
Those who are still in secondary school and want to register for Jamb can use awaiting results.
⇒ JAMB PROFILE CODE
Jamb Profile codes are numbers provided by Jamb to candidates who register for Jamb, this profile code is what will be used to create a jamb Profile. So those registering Jamb for the first time can get the profile code by dialing *5509*1*NIN# on your phone.
⇒ JAMB E-PIN
Jamb e-pin is like a token given to you or the person doing the registration gets a token after payment to Jamb. mind you there are differences between Jamb Epin and Jamb Profile Code. Jame profile code is the token or number used to create a Jamb profile while Jamb ePIN is used to complete jamb registration. And this Jamb e-pin can only be acquired after payment.
STEPS TO USE JAMB E-PIN
Follow these steps in my article, you won’t have issues completing your JAMB REGISTRATION, even if you’re a UTME candidate or a Direct Entry candidate.
- The candidate must get her NIN as directed by Jamb because the only candidate who has their NIN can REGISTER for JAMB.
- Send your NIN to 55019. example type ‘63748963251″ and send to “55019”
- Profile code will be sent to you. The profile code is what you will use to get Jamb e-pin.
- After receiving the profile code, visit – www.tvpass.com/jamb, and use the profile code that was sent to buy an e-pin, your e-pin will be sent to you immediately, either through sms or web, or the TVpas app.
- Then the pin is used to complete the Jamb Registration.
NOTE: candidate cannot make JAMB REGISTRATION on their own, it is only at centers approved by JAMB
The phone number we used to send NIN TO 55019 is automatically linked to the candidate’s name supplied by NIMC and will be used in all communications related to his/her application/examination.

Biodata is information about an individual. In Jamb registration, your personal information will be needed when filling out a form for Jamb Registration.

General Requirements for JAMB Registration 2024/2025 (UTME)
For candidates wishing to gain admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID), and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programs in their respective chosen Universities, polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, and other degree-awarding Institutions, Innovation Enterprise Institutions, the following are the general requirements for JAMB registration;
Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes Candidates should have a minimum of 5 credit passes in their O’Level result, including Mathematics and English Language.
More information about this will be seen on the Jamb Brochure that will be given to each candidate at the accredited CBT centers and JAMB State-Offices during their registration process.

WARNING: You should not give your personal JAMB password to any center or Cyber Cafe, as this can be used against you. If a center requests for your details other than your profile code, email address, and registration number, that means they are not authentic.

- Getting Profile Code from the candidate’s phone

How to Retrieve Your LOST JAMB ePIN After Payment
It could happen that you’ve Lost your EPin or maybe you haven’t received it yet. Whatever the case may be, you can retrieve jamb ePin by following the process given here;
- ⇒ Send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] to 55019 or 66019 for UTME or DE.
The ePIN would then be retrieved and delivered to the candidate’s unique number
NOTE: The retrieval process must be done using the candidates’ phone number that was used for registration.
How to Apply for Jamb Form in 2024
After you have successfully made payment for and obtained your ePIN. Candidate should then proceed to any JAMB-ACCREDITED CBT CENTRES in his/her location to COMPLETE their JAMB REGISTRATION.
When is Jamb Registration Closing Date?
The closing date for JAMB 2024/2025 registration is not yet specified.
