Eligibility Criteria
Who are those that are eligible and what are the things that qualify a candidate to be eligible to apply for admission through JAMB direct entry? To be qualified for the JAMB direct entry application, you must have the following academic qualifications:
- At least five (5) O’level credit passes in SSSC subjects, which can be from WAEC or GCE.
- The five credits should not be more than two sittings, it should have a minimum of two prescribed subjects for Principal or Advanced level Certificate Examination and others.
- Candidate should have two A’Level Examination awarded by any of the following examination bodies; IJMB, Cambridge, JUPEB, or Institute of Baccalaureate, and another three credit passes in the SSCE, based on the requirement of the University.
- For those for education courses, they should have Passed two major subjects in the NCE with S.C.E. NTC/NBC credits or other THREE related subjects.
- Candidates should have at least a minimum lower credit grade in the National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma. Apart from that candidates are required to also have their O’Level requirements intact.
- Also, the JAMB registration number that candidates used to gain admission when they were running programs such as NCE and a diploma are needed for their Direct Entry admission.

- Create a Jamb Direct Entry Profile.
- Enrol NIN for Jamb
- For your pin, visit an approved bank or CBT Center

- Submit to Jamb centres.
- Collect Jamb e-slip
NOTE: For your application process to come to a successful end, you must ensure that your biometric and photographic capture is carried out successfully.
