For the 2023/2024 Academic Session, the university’s management has set the acceptance fees payable by the freshly admitted students of the university at N20,000 only

NOTE:
All newly admitted students at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife are expected to pay a Development Levy of Eighteen Thousand Naira (N18,000) only. The payment is mandatory and non-refundable and is also made once by newly admitted students at the University
- Also, A TISHIP (Tertiary Institutions Students Health Insurance Prog.) fee of N2,000 is also to be paid
- A Students’ Welfare Insurance Scheme fee of N1,000 is also to be settled.
- To get accommodation on campus, freshmen are charged an additional fee of N3,090. However, the Accommodation is being provided on a first come first served basis

All Returning Students at OAU, Ile-Ife are mandated to pay the stipulated charges as outlined above. This is inclusive of the mandatory N2,000 for TISHIP (Tertiary Institutions Students Health Insurance Programme)
Returning Students with extra semesters, in addition to paying for TISHIP, must ensure that they obtain appropriate clearances from their Heads of Departments to facilitate their e-portal login process for registration.
Also, all new undergraduate students and final-year counterparts who wish to access the university’s accommodation facilities can do so after applying for Bed space allocation placement directly on the university’s e-portal. However, to be eligible to do so, they must have paid all stipulated fees, including the accommodation charges.
After this, they would be required to print and make 3 copies of the Bed space clearance forms from the university’s e-portal and ensure that the forms are signed by the Hall Warden and the student in question.
After signing, the forms should be handed to the relevant bodies as follows:
- The Student in question is expected to save a copy for future reference
- One copy ought to be handed to the university’s Dean of Student Affairs
- The final copy is to be submitted to Hall Warden in order to authorize the student’s occupancy of the bed space.
Note that failure to submit the forms to the appropriate clearing offices as directed might result in bed space allocation forfeiture.
Also, it is worthy of note that freshly admitted and final year students are given top priority all through the bed allocation process as other remaining bed spaces shall be balloted for.

Kindly note that the only method of fee payment at OAU is via the university’s online portal and ensure to adhere strictly to this directive to avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes.
Also, prompt fee payment is highly encouraged to ensure that you have the smoothest academic year ahead.
