About NCEE

A student who wishes to write this examination must be in their primary school finals and should not be less than 10 (10) years of age at the time of application.

When is the Official NCEE Exam Date?Â
The National Examination Council administered the National Common Entrance examination to all student who wishes to start their secondary school year in September.
The exams are slated to be held on the 20th of April 2024. This examination will be held in different venues on the same date as it is scheduled.
There is no postponement and absenteeism is not allowed.
About the ExamsÂ
This exam is being administered to a student who wishes to pass from their primary education to their secondary level of education. The exams are strictly for year students of different primary schools (primary six).
Cost of RegistrationÂ
The NCEE examination is registered with a particular amount as stipulated by the NCEE. The current amount that is being stimulated by the NECO is ₦4,750
This amount is being collected per candidates who need to register.
Eligibility Criteria for Registration
To be able to register for these exams you need to meet the following criteria
- Be a Nigerian student
- Be in your final year of education at the primary level
- Be not less than 10 years of age at the time of application
- Be In a recognized Nigerian Primary school

Place of registrtaionÂ
The common entrance examination is being done Online only. All candidates who wish to apply for the examination are advised to go to the official NECO portal, create an account and make registration.
The NCEE exams are being done in the official NECO portal.
Dont’s About the ExamsÂ
payment for NCEE is done on the NECO portal as stated above
ii. candidates who wish to Change of Examination Centre or change both Name and Passport will not be allowed after registration online
iii. All eligible candidates who registered to be placed in an oversubscribed College will be placed at any available alternative College, according to the carrying capacities

Part A Includes Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology
Part BÂ Includes English and National Values Education
- PAPER II
Part AÂ Includes Quantitative and Vocational Aptitude

The NCE Examination registration portal is currently open and the official portal for registration is https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/
NCEE Registrtaion ProcessÂ
- Using your most preferred browser open https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/
- Once you open you need to create an account
- provide your first name, phone number, and email address, and select the country, and state, enter your password, and confirm your password.
- Confirm the information you have provided
- click on create account
- You will be dashed to a Successful signup page
- Using the details you just created login Formally using your email, and password
- once your dashboard is opened click on Purchase Registration Quota
- Once the quota is purchased you are to start candidate registration.
- Make a payment of 4,750
- Enter the candidate’s information
- Upload candidates password
- confirm the information provided.
- Print the proof of registration
Official Deadline for RegistrationÂ
The official deadline for the NCEE registration the Midnight on 21st April 2024. Once it’s time, you are not allowed to make any further registration.
