Benson Idahosa University Benin (BIU)
The Benson Idahosa University is a private Christian University which is located in Benin City, in Edo State. The school was previously named Christian Faith University and was renamed in honor of Archbishop Benson Idahosa, who is the Charismatic Pentecostal Minister from Benin City. The archbishop was the first president of the University, now the current president is Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Faith Emmanuel Benson, the son of the Benson Idahosa.
The Benson Idahosa University, Benin is accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). It has been said that the Benson Idahosa University, Benin is the only university in Africa with International Membership with the United States National Academy of Inventors.
