The FUSHA VC attended the University of London in 1994, and in 1997 he became a fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Also in 2008, he obtained a certificate in Hospital Administration and Health Services from the National Institute of Public Health, Japan, and MD in 2021.

FUSHA Post-UTME Form

Every candidate who chooses The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUSHA), as their first choice and wants to take part in the 2023 Post-UTME screening must buy the university screening form at the cost of N2,000 (two thousand nairas only), and fill the form and other things as requested by The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUSHA)

Post-UTME Application Procedure

Before you take part in the FUSHA post-UTME, all the candidates must, first of all, make a payment of N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira only) to the University’s remit for the Post UTME Screening exercise. In order to do that the applicant has to follow the steps below:

• Step1: Login to the school’s official website at https://fuhsa.edu.ng 
• Step 2: Click on remita.net
• Step 3: Click on the Examination Fees.”
• Step 4; Type in the name, phone number, and email address of the candidate
• And they should be the same as those used in the  2023 UTME registration.
• Step 5: Generate an invoice
• finally, print a receipt from RRR 

JAMB UTME Admission Requirements

For those who want to enter the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, with JAMB UTME they are to fulfill the admission requirements listed below:

1. All the candidates must take the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), UTME, and pass
2. All candidates must obtain five (5) credits at SSCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects 
3. Candidates must reach the age of 18 and above
4. More than two (2) sittings SSCE results will not be accepted 
5. The SSCE credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics
6. Candidates must have a score of 160 or above on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination
7.  And have to choose FUHSA as their First Choice institution
8. All candidates must reach the acceptable cut-off points in UTME in relevant subjects
9. candidates who meet the requirements for admission shall also pass the screening test to be conducted by the University
10. Till the University last up to two years, it will not  accept transfer students 
11. Apart from the general admission requirements, prospective students must also meet the faculty and departmental requirements where they belong

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

For those who want to enter the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, with Direct Entry they are to fulfill the admission requirements listed below:

1. All the candidates must take the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), UTME, and pass
2. All candidates must obtain five (5) credits at SSCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects 
3. Candidates must have a score of 160 or above on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination
4.  And have to choose FUHSA as their First Choice institution
5. Applicants shall possess ND with credit passes, or possess a good first degree in another field 
6. Candidates must reach the age of 18 and above
7. More than two (2) sittings SSCE results will not be accepted 
8. The SSCE credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics
9. All candidates must reach the acceptable cut-off points in UTME in relevant subjects
10. candidates who meet the requirements for admission shall also pass the screening test to be conducted by the University

Post-UTME Screening Date

As per the date for the screening, the management of the Federal University of Health Science Azare has not announced the official date for the post-UTME screening for the 2023 academic calendar. But bear in mind that the screening will take effect between October and November 2023.
