Ed. Degree Program Admission Requirements
The following are the admission requirements for candidates who want to apply for admission to the Master of Education Degree Program:
- A minimum of Second Class (Lower Division), and a First Degree Honours in Education
- At least a Second Class (Lower Division), for the first degree, and a credit in a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), from a recognized institution
- At least of 60% pass grade in a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Technology, with a Third Class Honours degree in Education, is needed for admission into M.Ed. Educational Technology Program.
- At least of 60% pass grade in a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Technology, with a Third Class Honours degree in Education, is needed for admission into M.Ed. Educational Technology Program.
Sub-Degree Diploma Program Admission Requirements
This requirement is basically for the Human Kinetics and Health Education in the Sub-Degree Diploma Program. students here are to meet these requirements criteria before they can be considered for admission:
- At least 5 “O” Level Credit passes, English Language and Mathematics should be included
- Their O’Level results should not exceed two sittings
- Arabic students after they have met the five credits passes in O’Level, should also have English Language and Mathematics,
- Or they are to have a credit in at least five subjects; one of which must be Arabic. (Higher Islamic Studies Certificate-HISC).
- Applicants for Arabic Education should also have a Diploma in the teaching of Arabic or Islamic Studies.
