The University is one of the four newest universities in Nigeria that was established in the second quarter of 2021 to expand and give more opportunities to science students in university education in Nigeria.
Moreso, the aim of the school was to address the need of improving medical care delivery, accelerate its technological development and ensure equity in the distribution of higher institutions of learning across the country.
