National Diploma Admission Requirements

If you are an aspiring student of Crown Polytechnic, seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND), you must read the admission requirements we are about to list now, because it is meant for you.   • You must be 16 years old and above for you to be qualified to apply for admission at Crown Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti.
  • You must have written your SSCE and have obtained a minimum of 5 credit passes in your O’Level results be it WAEC, NECO, GCE, and others, and Mathematics and English Language must be included.
  • The results must not be more than two sittings, any result more than two sittings will not be accepted.
  • Candidates should also register, and write JAMB, and at the same time score up to the required JAMB cut-off mark to be qualified for the Crown Polytechnic screening exercise

Higher National Diploma Admission Requirements (Direct Entry).

Now for those of you who are applying for a Higher National Diploma (Direct Entry) at Crown Polytechnic, here are the important admission requirements to meet to be sure that you are qualified for admission. So the requirement is as listed below:

  • You must have written your SSCE and have obtained a minimum of 5 credit passes in your O’Level results be it WAEC, NECO, GCE, and others, and Mathematics and English language must be included.
  • The results must not be more than two sittings, any result more than two sittings will not be accepted.
  • Candidates should obtain the JAMB direct entry form from the official JAMB portal, for them to be qualified for the Crown Polytechnic screening exercise
  • Candidates for direct entry must present transcripts from their National Diploma programs, especially those from other institutions
  • Candidates must present proof that they have completed their twelve-month industrial attachment 
  • They are to have any of the following: ND, NCE, JUPEB, and any other A’Level certificate, that is acceptable by Crown Polytechnic.
  • Also, they are expected to meet all these requirements and the requirements of the department and faculties as well.
