The Bells University of Technology which is also known as Bellstech happens to be the very first private university of Technology established in Nigeria. The school was established in 2004, located in Ogun State. They started admitting students in the 2005/2006 acedemic session. The Bells University of Technology is owned by the former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.
The school has Seven Collages and a total of Thirty-five departments, The collages include the following: College of Natural & Applied Sciences, College of Engineering & Environmental Sciences, and College of Management Sciences
