- The Issue of Hostel Accommodation is currently handled by the Managers.
- The Charge for Hostel Services is under a different arrangement.
- Student Work Experience Program (SWEP) – A SWEP charge of N5, 000.00 is to be paid by students participating in the SWEP Program.
- Field Trip – Students in Departments that shall be participating are to pay the sum of N5, 000.00. Also, students of the following Departments are expected to pay the sum of N10, 000.00 to the same effect. The departments include Geology, Biological Sciences, Surveying and Geoinformatics & Water Resources, Aquaculture & Fisheries Technology (WAFT).
- All Newly Admitted Students are also required to pay the sum of N20, 000.00 as Acceptance Fees

Currently, FUTMINNA has two Hostels – The Old and New Hostels.
The Cost of each hostel is different as you may have well expected
The cost of getting space in the Old Hostel is N30,000.
On the other hand, the new Hostel goes for around N115,000
