AKSU as fondly called is an idea conceived and established by the government of Akwa Ibom state. The main aim of this establishment is to promote the unity of people with a passion for constantly seeking knowledge that solves practical development issues in the country.

Even after its establishment in 2000, the university didn’t gain the momentum to resume academic activities not until 2010.

It is located in Ikot Akpaden Mkpat Enin local government area and also has a second campus located in Obio Akpaa Abak.

Currently, we have staff of the university undergoing training in different fields to aid the development of the university.

Producing notable alumni in its short existence the university is making waves and producing graduates who become professionals in their various fields of study.
