Background Of Kaduna State University
It was in 2004 that Kaduna State University was founded. It was as a result of the need to encourage higher education in the northern and southern parts of the state, that the university was established, under the Kaduna State law promulgation of May 2004.

It was in October 2022, that Nair El-Rufai of the Government of Kaduna state, appointed Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa as the present Vice Chancellor of the university, while the current pro-chancellor of the school, is His Royal Highness, Sanusi Lamindo Sanusi and is the Chairman of the Governing Council is Hussaini Adamu Dikko.

- Every candidate must first complete the university online application on the KASU portal
- All candidates must have five (5) credit passes in their O’level results, including the English Language before applying for admission to any course
- Candidates’ results must not be more than two sittings, or else they will reject.
- All Sciences course must credit pass in Mathematics, it is compulsory
- A credit pass is also needed for all the Social and Management Science courses, anything less will not be accepted
- For the Arts course, students must have at least a pass in Mathematics, anything less, may be rejected
- For O’ level results, only WAEC and NECO are accepted for admission into all programs, by the Kaduna State University
- Candidate must partake in the University Post-UTME exercise
- Every applicant must be up to 16 years of age at the time of registration
- Candidates whose JAMB score is not up to 160, the school cut-off mark, will not take part

- Every candidate must first complete the university online application on the KASU portal
- All candidates must have five (5) credit passes in their O’level results, including the English Language before applying for admission to any course
- Candidates’ results must not be more than two sittings, or else they will reject.
- Every applicant must be up to 16 years of age at the time of registration

KASU Post UTME Application Procedure
- To apply, visit https://forms.kasu.edu.ng
- Click on the green login Button
- Enter your username with your JAMB Registration Number
- Where you have a password is also your JAMB Registration Number, but you will not include the first and the last character.
- After that you will click on Proceed with Payment tab, to generate your payment details
- Again, you will click on the green, Pay Via Interswitch button
- Then you can now Proceed with the payment.
- When you are done with the Payment, Logout
- After logging out, log in again to your account and proceed with your registration.
- Pay the N2,000.00 (two thousand nairas) Post-UTME fee.
