The program is designed to take place only during the weekend since the majority of those who are applying for the program are seriously engaged during the weekdays. Both Higher National Diploma and National Diploma Candidates can apply for the DESPO weekend program.
DESPO Weekend Program Admission Form 2023/2024
The management of the Delta State Polytechnic is using this opportunity to invite all suitably qualified candidates, for the admission application for its weekend programs, stating that all interested candidates can now obtain their forms and apply for them.
This is an official announcement to all the National Diploma candidates and Higher Nationa Diploma candidates as well, that the admission process for the 2023/2024 academic session is now open, and applications are now being accepted.
Registration Fees
How much will applicants pay as their registration fee? For admission into the DESPO weekend programs, every interested applicant is expected to pay the sum of N 10,500 (Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira), as registration fees. This fee is a nonrefundable fee paid into the bank account of Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara.
National Diploma Admission Requirements
Candidates of the DESPO weekend are expected to meet certain prerequisite admission requirements. National Diploma Program to meet the following criteria:
- credit passes in five O’Level subjects
- Mathematics and English Language are required to be part of the credits
- Results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB are accepted
- Candidates result should not be in more than two sittings.
Higher National Diploma Admission Requirements
Candidates of the DESPO weekend are expected to meet certain prerequisite admission requirements. Higher National Diploma Program to meet the following criteria:
- credit passes in five O’Level subjects
- Mathematics and English Language are required to be part of the credits
- Results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB are accepted
- Candidates result should not be in more than two sittings.
- They must have an ND from an NBTE-accredited Polytechnic.
- A pass in ND must have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience
