UMYU Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Here are the admission requirements for a master’s degree, doctorate degree, postgraduate diploma, and master of philosophy.
Postgraduate Diploma Admission Requirements
- Graduates of recognized Universities;
- Must hold a Higher National Diploma, with at least of lower credit pass (CGPA 3.00) on a 5-point scale
- If you do not have a credit in your Higher National Diploma, you must have three years of relevant postgraduate experience;
- Candidates with third-class degrees, that are not in education, will be considered if they have three years of relevant postgraduate experience.
Masters Degree Admission Requirements
- They must finish at a recognized university
- Candidates must obtained an approved Bachelors Degree
- A degree of at least, a Second-Class Honors (CGPA 3.00) on a 5-point scale.
- Second-class lower holders with a CGPA of 3.00 need to have a Postgraduate Diploma of at least a credit level pass (CGPA of 3.50) in relevant areas.
MASTER OF PHILOSOPHY (M.Phil)
- Must be a graduate of a University
- Have a master’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5-point scale
- M.Phil/Ph.D students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale
